I found this quote and I thought it was worth sharing with you~
"Celebrate the happiness that friends and family are always giving, make every day a holiday and celebrate just living."
~Amanda Bradley
I thought, well ....Christmas has come and gone, but why not make everyday a reason to celebrate?
Life is such a precious gift... just to be able to live, love and laugh....there is so much to be thankful for. I will celebrate it every day of this New Year, and I'll honor the day I've been given and make it special in some small way...this is my New Year's Promise. Thank you God for family and friends and the gift of Life.
Tell me, what are your New Year's Promises or New Year's Resolutions? Have you made any yet?

I popped over to visit from TTT. Thanks for sharing this lovely card. I'm always on the lookout for cards to use and this one is so pretty with the soft colors. I love how you've displayed it under the cloche.
What a fun vignette. Love the postcard. I need to pull out a few New Year's decorations. You have me inspired.

Hi Queeniw, what a sweet sentiment for the New Year. I too thank God every day for being so blessed. Looking forward to a New Year full of fun and excitement. Including a new grandbaby. Have fun with that new herb garden. If you're like me, your already counting the days till Spring. Love your vintage card! Happy New Year!
The perfect New Year's resolution. Did you know that I have an Etsy store called: One Little Candle and the motto of that shop is that everyday is a day to celebrate and that all you need is one little candle. I haven't put anything in the shop in over a year but maybe 2012 will be the year to start again. I only had vintage party stuff in it. xo and a very Happy New Year Queenie.
Happy New Year to you! I never really make in elaborate plans, just in my mind to lose weight and get my home better organized!
LOVE you antique postcard...especially in the dome vignette! Lovely! I shared an antique New Year postcard as well. So nostalgic!

Your vignette is darling, I love your vintage images.
Alas, I'm not much of a planner and even worse at staying the course, but I am hoping to become more active this year and give myself more time to be creative and play.
Happy New Year to you and those dear to you!
Happy New Year dear friend.
