I just couldn't let this week slip away without wishing everyone a Happy and Peaceful Thanksgiving....
May the spirit of Thanksgiving fill your hearts with gratitude and your homes with peace and joy...

I'll be cooking Thanksgiving Supper in the evening here at home, ....and some of my family will be coming over and eating with us. I am looking forward to visiting and eating some good food! I can hardly wait, as a matter of fact. I hope to share some of my Thanksgiving recipes with you on my recipe blog in the future posts over there, of course it will be after Thanksgiving before I get them posted over there. But, I did recently share my great-grandma's southern dressing recipe. If you don't have a dressing recipe and you happen to be looking for one, you can click HERE to view my post and get the recipe. It's never too late to start a family tradition.... For me and my family....we have a tradition during Thanksgiving...being thankful and of course.... it's all about the dressing too.
I hope that you all have a blessed Thanksgiving Day....
Big Hugs,
Queenie
P.S.
For those family members that are across the miles, that I can't be with this year for Thanksgiving...you are with me in thought and you are held close to my heart...always, always always.

Happy thanksgiving to you too, sweetie! I already started cooking today.
I'm cooking dinner for a bunch of men! NO women! But it doesn't bother me a bit. I'm used to that. My DIL's parents are flying in from Michigan so the grands will will be spending time with them. I'm quite willing to share since I see them all the time.
I make Bobby's mama's cornbread dressing plus cajun gravy and rice to go along with my turkey. I have some western dishes from my side of the family too, though. ♥ ♥ ♥
Love that vintage Thanksgiving image ~ thanks for sharing, Queenie!
Hope you and your sweet family have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family. Sounds like you'll be busy in the kitchen. I'm looking forward to your recipes. We'll traveling across the state.
